Revel looks likes its moving fast. I can see that opening in one year...

As far as Margaritaville... if you notice on the signs coming off the expressway, the billboards now only mention Trump Taj and Trump Plaza - they used to list all three. Must be the first steps huh?

Pinnacle could be forever - their backers aren't nearly as strong as Revel it seems, so getting the right financing could be significantly more of a challenge for them.

Hmmm sounds interesting .... Will be down in late October , somewhere around the 22nd. Will most like be at Resorts. Build the cash roll and hit some tourneys maybe. Will definitely have to check it out while I am down again

Resorts? Really? Why? At least then go to Hilton... resorts is probably the worst property in all of AC.... So fallen apart, just feels old. Go to hilton, your resorts comp card will work there and the poker room can be mighty juicy.

I am OLD ....lol The wife likes thier slots (she can drink as many appletinis as she wants) and hey its somewhat easy money at times on their 2/4 limit game and we get a free show on top of the room. I am thinking of hitting the Hilton. I like what I read on here about it. Maybe I'll take my rollerblades.. my kidneys cant take toooooo much of the jitney.

Revell does look like it's moving along nicely, Pinnacle..same as Brandon said....last I heard also...MGM AC is coming soon, going to be named City Center i believe...Also rumors that one may go up on the otherside of the Hilton as well. I can't wait, give Harrah's a run for their money, I like Harrah's, but they can be super stingy at times

I heard about the one on the other side of Hilton... I believe it's supposed to be Dunes AC. I read that somewhere... although odd that Dunes would come here, although I don't know that much about Dunes...

And be nice to Harrahs - I'm trying to get a job with them ;)

The $5B Pinnacle was shelved.. even though billboards are still there. The other $1B expansion (forgot what it was) was also put on hold.

I read 5 to 7 of the 12 casinos may need to declare bankruptcy to stay afloat. Poker rooms are the first to go (AC Hilton). Brings less profit, and employs too many people.

It's the end of an era.

Why did I have the impression that there was a poker room at the Marina? Well, I was wrong. DIdn't really gamble much here.

The room was great, two queen beds, plenty of room, very clean room, bathroom working correctly. Showerhead sucked, but otherwise no complaints. Normal refridgerator was a bonus. For $99, thsi was a great deal. I even got to check in at noon on Friday.

Also, the roulette guy had no issue with trying to get me 5 of his best $1 chips to bring home. Great guy.
