8/19/08: Bad Beat Jackpot update
Was there on 8/19 - bad beat jackpot had just been hit and was down to 23,000 from its previous 55,000 on saturday.

I loved playing at the Taj, but action did dry up at about 4am.
+1 on the dirty chips. Not as bad as the AC Hilton, but almost.

the taj mahal pokerchips will give you diseases !! they are by far the nastiest chips on the east coast !
hilton chips dirty? you must have gotten a bad batch ! never had a complaint about that place

About a year ago Taj replaced the carpet, tables, chairs, and chips. It's cleaner. But the service still stinks. Takes forever to find a waitress to get a water, and don't even start me on that rat -kitchen they have upstairs. I only ever go with a free room and a tournament.
