Have decided to invest some cash game profits into tourny entries and give it a shot. Have had success playing a handful of small events but generally haven't played tournys because of long hours and huge luck factor. Prepared for the Showboat by brushing up on Harrington Vol 1/2. I like his stuff because I can relate to his style and he's had success.

Trump Plaza is offering daily freerolls in their "Poker Pro" automated poker room. Tournaments are 12/8pm from8/28 to 9/5. I played the noon today and was pleasantly surprised. 88 players started and 9 spots were paid. Novice players had no problem acclimating to the technology and the game was fast and efficient.
